Kilkerran 16 Year Old is a Campbeltown single malt from Glengyle, and the oldest Kilkerran the distillery has released to date. It is bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
Most of the maturation, 96%, was in bourbon casks, with some Marsala casks used as well. The name comes from the Gaelic name of the original settlement where Saint Kerran had his religious cell, on the site of present-day Campbeltown.
