Kilkerran 8 Year Old is the 2026 annual release of the single malt made at Mitchell's Glengyle Distillery in Campbeltown, Scotland. It was fully matured in ex-bourbon casks and bottled at a cask strength of 57.7%, without chill-filtration or added colouring. The spirit is oily, lightly peated and maritime in character.
Butterscotch and custard creams open the nose, with apple butter, white miso and poached pear. The palate moves from shortbread and caramel chocolate to gooseberries, white grapes, cigar box smoke and sandalwood. The finish has green peppercorn, honeydew melon and a lingering ashy note.
