Kilkerran 8 Year Old Bourbon Cask is a single malt from the Glengyle distillery in Campbeltown. This 2026 bottling was matured in ex-bourbon casks and bottled at cask strength, 57.7%, in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The bourbon casks bring forward light fruit, vanilla and malt, with spicy, maritime and lightly smoky notes alongside.
The nose offers citrus, green apple, pear, vanilla, honey and sea air. On the palate come vanilla, caramel, pastry, light fruit, pepper, ginger and a little smoke. The finish is long, spicy and slightly salty, with minerality, smoke and citrus.
