Kilkerran 8 Year Old is a cask strength single malt from Glengyle distillery in Campbeltown. It was matured for eight years in bourbon casks and bottled at 55.8% ABV.
The name Kilkerran comes from the Gaelic Ceann Loch Cille Chiarain, the original settlement where Saint Kieran had his religious cell, on the site where Campbeltown now stands.
The palate is notably creamy, with tropical fruits, vanilla and panna cotta.
