Kilkerran 8 Years Old Cask Strength is a Campbeltown single malt from Glengyle, part of the distillery's yearly cask strength releases. Batch 12 was bottled in 2025 at 57.7% ABV.
The whisky matured entirely in bourbon casks, which keeps the focus on the Glengyle spirit rather than on the influence of the wood.
The nose is fresh and mineral, with apple, rhubarb, honey and mint. On the palate it is oily and lively, with light fruit, vanilla and fine pepper. The finish is peppery and lasting, with nuts and sweet malt.
