This is Kilkerran Heavily Peated Batch No. 7, a limited-edition cask strength single malt from Glengyle distillery, bottled at 59.1% ABV. It is the seventh batch in the Peat In Progress series.
The whisky matured in 90% bourbon casks and 10% sherry casks. It has no added colour and has not been chill filtered.
It is typically described as having well integrated earthy peat alongside a characteristic sweetness.
