Kilkerran Heavily Peated 2026 Batch 14 (70cl, 58.3%)

Kilkerran Heavily Peated 2026 Batch 14 is a limited edition Campbeltown single malt from the Glengyle distillery, bottled at 58.3% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in a mix of 90 per cent bourbon casks and 10 per cent sherry casks. Glengyle was founded in 1873 by William Mitchell and reopened in 2004 by descendants of the Mitchells. The nose offers honeycomb, wholemeal toast, seafood grilled over charcoal and smoked bacon. On the palate come smoke, lemon shortbread, melon and ham. The finish is well balanced, with peat smoke, lemon peel, icing sugar and a sweet, buttery mouthfeel.
