This is Batch 10 of Kilkerran Heavily Peated, a small batch single malt from Glengyle distillery in Campbeltown. It was bottled on 22 February 2024 at 57.8% ABV and comes in a 70cl bottle.
The batch is a smoky one, with peat at the front. The strength gives a full mouthfeel, and a Campbeltown funkiness sits quietly within the whisky.
On the palate, expect a strong wave of peat smoke with vanilla, citrus, sweet malt and a light minerality.
