Kilkerran Heavily Peated Batch 14 is the 2026 release of an annual limited edition from Glengyle Distillery in Campbeltown. It is a single malt bottled at its natural cask strength of 58.3%, non-chill-filtered and of natural colour, in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was matured in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks, which bring vanilla sweetness, orchard fruits and warming spice alongside the maritime peat smoke.
The nose opens with intense peat smoke, then citrus zest, vanilla pod, honeyed malt and sea air. The palate is full-bodied, with earthy peat, smoked barley, peppered oak and brine, set against lemon curd and malt loaf. The finish is long, smoky and warming.
