Kilkerran Heavily Peated Batch 14 is a Campbeltown single malt from Glengyle distillery, released in 2026 at 58.3%. It belongs to a series exploring more heavily peated expressions.
The whisky was matured in 90% ex-bourbon casks and 10% sherry casks.
The nose has strong peat smoke with vanilla and a touch of sea salt, alongside grilled shellfish, smoked bacon and honey on wholemeal toast. The palate is oily and full, with honey, lemon shortbread, melon, malt and spiced oak in smoke. The finish is long, with peat, mineral notes, lemon zest and a hint of nuts.
