Kilkerran Heavily Peated Batch No. 10 is a 2024 single malt from Glengyle Distillery in Campbeltown, bottled at 57.8% in a 70cl bottle. It belongs to the heavily peated Kilkerran series and is a limited release. The whisky matured 90% in ex-bourbon casks and 10% in ex-sherry casks. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. Sweet dessert notes meet peat smoke, with icing sugar, crème brûlée and custard on the nose. On the palate the smoke is soft and sweet alongside toasted marshmallows, and gooseberry and Parma violet appear with time. The finish stays sweet, with orange pulp.
