Kilkerran Heavily Peated Batch No. 10 is a Campbeltown single malt from Glengyle, the tenth batch in a peated series that followed the distillery's Peat in Progress releases, launched in 2019. The whisky is drawn 90% from ex-bourbon casks and 10% from sherry casks.
It was bottled on 22 February 2024 at 57.8% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
The nose offers fine sweetness, icing sugar, crème brûlée, vanilla and peat. The palate is soft, with sweet peat smoke, toasted marshmallows, strong peat, and hints of gooseberry and Parma ham. The finish is lightly sweet, with orange pith.
