Kilkerran Heavily Peated Batch No. 11 is a peated Campbeltown single malt without an age statement, bottled at 57.9% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It follows the Peat in Progress series, which Kilkerran began in 2019.
The batch is made up of 90% ex-bourbon casks and 10% sherry casks. It was bottled on 22 February 2024 as a limited edition.
The nose brings lemon and lime tart, a little toasted rye bread and peat smoke. On the palate come toasted marshmallows and campfire embers, with vanilla and custard. The finish stays smoky to the end, with a mineral note.
