King Charles Special Reserve is a blended Scotch whisky with a 12-year age statement, in a 750ml bottle at 43% ABV. It is made entirely from Scotch whiskies, distilled and bottled in Scotland, and Robert McKie Neil & Co Ltd of Glasgow bottled it.
The nose opens with malted grain and toasted bread, with old oak and a background of pepper and gentle cinnamon. On the palate it is balanced, with milk chocolate, dark spices and ripe fruit. The finish is warm and long, with woody and spicy notes that linger after the sip.
