Doocot is a Lowland single malt from Kingsbarns Distillery in Scotland, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It takes over from Dream to Dram as the distillery's first standard bottling.
The whisky spent seven years maturing in ex-bourbon and ex-STR casks, the latter being shaved, toasted and recharred.
The nose is sweet and floral, with brown sugar, banana and tropical fruit. On the palate it is soft, with pineapple syrup, ripe berries and a hint of rhubarb. The finish is medium in length, with kiwi and citrus zest.
