Kirin Single Blended Japanese Whisky Fuji 2022 Masterpiece (50%)

Fuji 2022 Masterpiece is a limited edition single blended Japanese whisky from Kirin's Mt. Fuji Distillery, bottled at 50% ABV without chill filtering. The grain and malt are both grown and made at the distillery, using four distinct stills. The blend includes a small amount of peated whisky alongside long-aged whiskies, some up to 30 years old, with an average age above 15 years, and it is made with Mt. Fuji snowmelt water. The colour is crimson gold. The nose offers creamy custard, red fruits, poached pear and blackcurrant with dark chocolate. The palate is mellow and mildly sweet, with dark cherry, caramel and lychee, leading to a long finish.
