Knappogue Castle 12 Year Old is a triple-distilled Irish single malt, made only from malted barley and matured for 12 years in ex-Bourbon casks. It comes in a 75cl bottle.
The character is bright and fruit-forward, balanced by vanilla, malt, gentle oak and warming spice.
The nose offers vanilla, freshly baked bread, cooked apple and sweet malt. On the palate it is rich yet balanced, with lemon, fresh apple, candied fruit, vanilla and delicate spice. The finish is medium to long, warming and spicy, with orchard fruit and oak lingering.
