Knob Creek Rye (70cl, 50%)

Knob Creek Rye is a Kentucky straight rye whiskey in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 50% ABV (100 proof). It is the rye counterpart to Knob Creek's bourbon and follows the vision of Master Distiller Booker Noe, reviving the pre-Prohibition style of rye. It is made from a high-rye mash bill and aged in deeply charred American oak barrels. The nose offers warm rye spice, vanilla and brown sugar, with oak and honeyed grain. On the palate cinnamon, clove and nutmeg lead, followed by caramel, roasted nuts and a touch of dark fruit. The finish is long and warming, with toasted oak and a gentle sweetness.
