Koriyama (40%)

Koriyama is a Japanese whisky bottled at 40%. It is usually drunk neat or over ice, and it also serves as a base for cocktails. The nose is direct, with clear spirit notes, subtle cereal and light spice. The attack on the palate is lively, followed by a supple texture, discreet grain flavours and a warming feel. The finish is fairly dry and lingering, with a balance between power and roundness.
