Kornog Peated Single Malt is a French whisky from The Celtic Whisky Distillery, bottled at 46% ABV. It is matured entirely in American bourbon casks, and the malt is peated to around 50 ppm of phenols. The single malts are between three and six years old and are bottled when they are ready.
The nose is intensely smoky and peaty. On the palate there is plenty of peat, with notes of ginger and white pepper. The finish is very long.
