Koshu Blended Whisky is a Japanese blend from Sun Foods Co., a company founded in 1992 that is best known for canning fruit and vegetables and making juice. It comes in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky has a sweet, barrel-matured aroma and a deep, mellow taste.
On the nose it is fresh and light, with green apple, lemon zest and clean malt. The palate is soft and crisp, with gentle sweetness, a touch of white pepper and grainy notes. The finish is short and clean, with grassy hints, citrus peel and light cereal.
