Koval – Four Grain Whiskey (20cl, 47%)

Koval Four Grain is an American whiskey in a 20cl bottle, bottled from a single cask at 47%. The mash is made from oats, malted barley, rye and wheat, and the spirit matures in heavily charred new oak casks from Minnesota. Koval was founded in 2008 by Robert and Sonat Birnecker, a distilling specialist and a history professor who left academic life to start the distillery. It is usually described as having a banana nose, a creamy palate and a spicy finish.
