Krug Grande Cuvée 173ème Édition is a non-vintage Brut Champagne from the house of Krug, founded in Reims in 1843. Each Édition is blended afresh from wines of many different years rather than from a single harvest.
The 173rd is built around the 2017 harvest, which makes up 69% of the blend. The remaining 31% comes from reserve wines going back to 2001, giving 150 individual wines from 13 vintages in all. The blend is 44% Pinot Noir, 34% Chardonnay and 22% Meunier.
It was disgorged in early 2024 with a dosage of 4.5 grams per litre.
