Krug Grande Cuvée 173ème Édition Brut

Grande Cuvée 173ème Édition is a non-vintage Brut Champagne from Krug, blended from 150 wines drawn from 13 different harvests, the youngest from 2017 and the oldest from 2001. Reserve wines make up 31 per cent of the final blend. The composition is 44 per cent Pinot Noir, 34 per cent Chardonnay and 22 per cent Meunier. It spent at least seven years in the house cellars. Toasted bread, brioche, stone fruit, verbena and vanilla custard lead the nose. The palate brings juicy peach in syrup and ripe citrus, then warm, toasted notes and pine nut, ending in a generous, lingering lemon finish.
