Kura The Whisky is a Japanese blended malt, labelled as pure malt, made by the Helios Distillery in Okinawa. Helios is better known for rum and traditional awamori, and this is one of its occasional whiskies. It is bottled at 40% ABV. Unusually for Japanese whisky, it is notably peated. The smoky profile is balanced by gentle sweetness and soft malt, with a lingering peat influence.
