La Girafe Chic is a 28 year old blended malt Scotch whisky from Murray McDavid. It was distilled in 1997 and bottled in 2026.
It matured in two casks: a French Margaux wine cask and a Pedro Ximénez sherry cask from Bodega Ximénez-Spinola. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The nose is sweet caramel and baked berries, with the spice of a vanilla pod. The palate brings the creamy texture of dark chocolate, the bright acidity of redcurrants and rosewater. The finish has firm oak spice, floral notes and ripe fruit.
