An Artist series single malt, number 14, from Longmorn in Speyside. It was distilled in 1994 and matured for over 30 years in a refill hogshead, then bottled in 2024 at 55.9% in a 70cl bottle. It is a single cask release of 141 bottles.
The nose is rich and concentrated, with carnation, iris, heather honey, dates, figs and ginger, plus earthy, rooty notes that brush against peat. The palate is ample and exotic, with pineapple, mango and guava, then cocoa, chestnut and walnut, ending on raspberry and strawberry. The finish is long and silky.
