Label 5 Classic Black is a blended Scotch whisky, matured in oak casks and bottled at 40% ABV. It combines malt and grain whiskies, with Speyside malts forming the backbone.
The nose is light and fresh, with sweet toffee, vanilla and baked shortbread, plus pear, apple and a little ginger. The palate is smooth and mellow, with vanilla, butter and caramel, subtle grassy notes and a whisper of smoke. The finish is clean and short, sweet and fruity, with a trace of oak.
