This is a limited 12-year-old Islay single malt from Lagavulin, part of the 2021 Special Release and bottled at 56.5% ABV. It was matured for 12 years in American oak casks.
The release follows the Legends Untold theme, and the bottle carries an image from that series.
The nose is smoky, with a hint of lime and bacon. The palate has pepper and wood smoke alongside sweet notes of caramel and fudge. The finish brings black pepper and smoke, with a salty, fresh edge.
