This is the very first edition of Lagavulin's Distillers Edition, a double matured Islay single malt from the 1979 vintage.
The sherry wood used in its maturation was Pedro Ximenez. It was released in 1997 as a special limited edition, and this version comes in a 1 litre bottle.
It is bottled at 43% ABV.
