A single cask Islay malt bottled by The Whisky Chamber at 58.3% ABV in a 50cl bottle. It is a Lagavulin released as Teufel, Volume 13, because it may not be marketed under the distillery name. Only 416 bottles were filled.
The whisky matured in a first-fill bourbon barrel, which brings sweet toffee and vanilla alongside intense smoke.
On the nose there is smoke, iodine, vanilla and toffee. The palate offers peaty, sweet malt sweets with candied ripe pears, and the finish clings to the palate.
