Lambay – Single Malt Reserve Cask Batch 01 (70cl)

Lambay Single Malt Reserve Cask is an Irish single malt in a 70cl bottle, finished entirely in hand-selected French oak cognac casks, both first fill and second fill. The casks are matured on Lambay Island, where the sea air brings maritime notes of sea salt and iodine. Batch 01 holds a higher share of island-matured malt, which gives a saltier note on the palate. It is blended with single malt from the island warehouse. Expect spice, tobacco and pepper, soft smoky character with slight salinity, and a dry, lingering finish that balances rich oak and herbal notes.
