Lambertus 5 Year Old is a Belgian single malt from the Radermacher distillery, finished in former tequila casks after five years of maturation. It is a distillery bottling at 47% in a 70cl bottle.
The tequila finish adds a fresh, spicy note to the malt.
The nose has fresh herbs, citrus, light agave and malt. The palate opens with soft sweetness and grain, then peppery spice, lime, a light vegetal note and a dry edge. The finish is medium-long, fresh and spicy.
