Lambertus is a Belgian single malt made by Radermacher, distillers since 1836. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is fresh and aromatic, with apple, pear and citrus blossom, sometimes rose petals, along with sweet vanilla, caramel and a touch of cereal or yeast. The palate is bittersweet, with dried fruit, apricot and pear, a lightly perfumed floral side, cardamom, coriander and woody tones, and can be fairly full-bodied for a young whisky. The finish is smooth and fairly long, with nuts and cocoa, and at times a drying, woody note.
