Langs Select 12 Years Old is a single malt Scotch whisky from Lang Brothers, presented in a decanter called The Kiln.
The nose is round and soft, with ripe sweet fruit such as green apple, pear and a touch of plum, alongside mature malt, varnished wood, vanilla and light sherry and ginger spice. The palate is silky, rich and semi-sweet, with citrus and a creamy, buttery or nutty texture, then hints of sweet chocolate over bitter oak.
The finish is long, soft and mostly dry, leaving a lasting impression of spice and toasted wood.
