Laphroaig 10 – 100% Matured in Bourbon Barrels – Cadenhead's (70cl, 46%)

This is a 10 year old Laphroaig bottled by Cadenhead's at 46%, in a 70cl bottle. Laphroaig stands on the south coast of Islay and was founded in 1815. The whisky matured entirely in bourbon barrels, which gave it a rich aroma. The nose offers hemp, gooseberries and menthol. On the palate come lime oil, grilled langoustines and Bramley apple, and the finish is salty, with lemon and eucalyptus.
