Laphroaig 10 Year Old Cask Strength Batch 15 is an Islay single malt at 56.5% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. It is the fifteenth batch of this ten-year-old cask strength release.
The nose brings thick waves of iodine peat smoke, followed by candied fruit and toffee. On the palate it is rich, earthy and spicy, with clove, cardamom and chilli, then salted caramel, blackcurrant and a hint of liquorice. The finish is huge and drying.
