Laphroaig – 10 Year Old (70cl)

Laphroaig 10 Year Old is an Islay single malt in a 70cl bottle, matured only in ex-bourbon casks. The distillery's own maltings supplies about a fifth of its production, and the rest of the malt is bought from Port Ellen. Barley germinating on the malting floor is turned electronically every eight hours. The peat comes from the distillery's own land to the north, and the water is piped in from Kilbride Loch. The label describes it as the most richly flavoured of all Scotch whiskies.
