Laphroaig – 10 Years

Laphroaig 10 Years is an Islay single malt with a very smoky aroma and a hint of seaweed and sea air. It is among the most intense of the island's malts. Laphroaig was officially founded in 1815 by the brothers Donald and Alex Johnston. In the glass it is a rich, bright gold. The nose is medicinal and phenolic, with seaweed and a touch of sweetness. The palate is salty, oily and seaweedy, and the finish is round and very dry.
