A 12 year old Islay single malt from Laphroaig, bottled by the distillery at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in American oak barrels and is natural in colour and non-chill-filtered.
The nose brings together peat smoke, a glowing bonfire and a seaweed edge, with a little stone fruit and fine herbal spice. On the palate it is full and oily, with salty sea notes and strong smoke meeting ripe stone fruit. The finish is long, with clear saltiness, lingering smoke and bright citrus.
