Laphroaig – 17 Year Old 1989 Vintage Feis Ile 2007

Laphroaig 17 Year Old is an Islay single malt Scotch whisky, distilled in 1989 and matured for 17 years. It was released for the Feis Ile festival in 2007 and to mark the opening of the new Friends Lounge, in an outturn of 4,000 bottles. The bottling was created for the Friends of Laphroaig community, with the whisky selected from some of the best casks of its age. It is described as showing the distillery's bold peat smoke, coastal influence and medicinal notes, with a maturity that balances intensity with elegance.
