Laphroaig 18 Year Old is an Islay single malt matured for 18 years in an ex-bourbon barrel and bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is spicy and peaty. On the palate the first taste is oak sweetness from the long maturation, before the smoke fades into nutty oak, toffee and wild heather. It is full bodied, and the finish is smooth and long.
