Laphroaig 18 Years Old is an Islay single malt. On the palate it is soft and rich, with lemon peel, charred twigs, peat and charcoal, then sticky minerals, leather, dark chocolate and toffee. Ash and a metallic acidity complete the palate.
The finish is spicy and invigorating. Peat, light smoke and ash lead, with sour metal, cola, coffee, dark chocolate, oak and toffee following.
