Laphroaig Cairdeas 119.2 is the Lore release, a cask strength Islay single malt bottled at 59.6% in a 70cl bottle. It is made with water from the Kilbride Stream, selected barley and hand-cut peat.
Smoky peat sits alongside warm spices, toasted oak and vanilla, with nutty dark chocolate and black peppercorn on the palate. The finish is long and warming, with subtle sweetness and a saline, maritime edge.
