Laphroaig Lore is an Islay single malt created by distillery manager John Campbell and described as the richest Laphroaig yet. It is bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle.
The name refers to skills and traditions passed by word of mouth from one distillery manager to the next since 1815. The whisky is drawn from a selection of casks, including first-fill sherry butts and smaller quarter casks, along with the distillery's most precious stock. It is rich and deep, with distinctive smoke, peat and seaside minerality.
