Laphroaig Quarter Cask is a young single malt Scotch whisky from Islay, bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle.
Its maturation is accelerated by ageing in quarter casks. The smaller size gives the whisky more contact with the oak, which adds a rich, smooth edge to Laphroaig's distinctive peatiness.
The flavours are smoky peat with a subtle sweetness, and the American oak brings coconut, banana and vanilla.
