Laphroaig Select is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Islay distillery, in a 75cl bottle at 40% ABV.
It is matured in five types of cask: Oloroso sherry butts, Pedro Ximénez sherry hogsheads, first-fill bourbon barrels, quarter casks and virgin American oak. The result combines smoky richness with a nuanced sweetness, in a softer and more approachable style than is usual for Laphroaig.
