Lark Classic Cask is a single malt made at the Coal River Lark Distillery in Tasmania and bottled at 43%. It shows the citrus and butterscotch of the Lark house style, with a hint of Tasmanian peat and a balance of sweet, spicy and savoury elements.
The nose is toffee apple, crisp citrus and custard, and over time a subtle floral oak emerges. The palate brings fruity malt and rich plum pudding, followed by apple crumble and red berries. The finish is viscous and dessert-like, with tawny oak building towards the close.
