Lark Classic Cask Strength is a Tasmanian single malt, bottled at 58% ABV in a 500ml bottle. It is shaped by the old style of Lark and is meant as a reflection of the Tasmanian landscape.
The character is built on dried fruit and butterscotch, with a strong influence from port casks. Hints of maple syrup and sweet Tasmanian highland peat sit alongside.
The nose brings cinnamon, nutmeg, liquorice and orange peel with vanilla and oak. On the palate there is vanilla and Christmas cake sweetness, citrus, stewed fruits and a little peat smoke. The finish is long and warming, with citrus, spices and toffee.
