Devil's Storm No.183 is a Tasmanian single malt from Lark Distillery's Signature collection, in a 70cl bottle at 42% ABV.
It was aged in first-fill vintage Port and Sherry casks from Seppeltsfield Wines, then finished in American oak and in casks Lark has seasoned itself.
The nose offers stewed plums in wildflower honey, scorched orange and roasted pecans dusted with cacao. On the palate, dark chocolate sits over blackberries, with caramel fondant and charred peaches touched by peat smoke. The finish brings old oak, burnt maple syrup, sticky toffee pudding and toasted sesame brittle.
